Weber Brothers Metal Works in Palatine, Illinois made floats for the Coast Guard. In 1952, one of their representatives, George Stephen, was searching for an approach to barbecue sustenance. He took one of the floats and cut it down the middle to make one section a barbecue and the top section a cover. George then included a handle and legs and after that jabbed a few gaps in the cover.
The Weber Kettle flame broil was conceived.
The Wolf Steel Ltd. Organization was begun by Wolfgang Schroeter in 1976 in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. They began fabricating wood stoves which were made of strong solid metal and two glass entryways.
In 1981 the organization built up a line called Napoleon which included gourmet gas barbecues. The barbecues offered infrared flame broiling, which was at the time the most progressive innovation in North America.
