OGDEN — A fire that brought on about $500,000 in harm Tuesday night is associated to have been an outcome with defective hardware.
The fire happened at the north area of the Weber County Fairgrounds in a capacity carport at around 11 p.m. The fire was brought in by people watching youth baseball in the adjacent fields.
Jennifer Graham, Weber County’s executive of amusement offices, said the ball games were simply getting over when the fire started and that it was fortunate there were still individuals there to call firefighters; else it could have been more regrettable.
